Really ... honestly... I have GOT to clean my baseboards ...and I ain't taking pics to show you. Just remember, we have TWO 165 lb. Great Danes that live indoors and out. We take our shoes off, but they just keep the grime between their toes until they enter their ....uhhh... our domain.
And then, of course, they have hair over 99.7265% of their l-a-r-g-e bodies and they have a bit of slobber too... which wouldn't be so bad if they didn't SHAKE every time they get up. For those that don't know, it's the shaking that sends the slobber sideways this and that. It can stick to walls and it doesn't match the paint color very well.
Hmmm... sounds like I have more than baseboards to clean.
*sighhh*
Life with dogs... BIG dogs.... well, truth be told, I wouldn't have it any different.
Gotta go clean...

Me - I don't think that any home is completely decorated until you add dog hair!!!
lol- Man, I thought my 85 lb golden was a handful! You have 4 times that... phew! Shaving poor 'ol Lander helped... even though he's lost some of his 'golden charm', it sure makes me love him a whole lot more when I'm not chasing after him with a swiffer! Or even worse, pulling the handfuls of hair out of Noah's little claws (or mouth!) yikes!
Our English Springer Spaniel is big but not that big and she doesn't slobber.
Okay my friend. Use my line from "Phantom of the Opera".....but you have to sing it while you use it, "Keep your hand at the level, at the level of your eyes!"
Loving you...loving you mama.
I used to have a gray great dane with black spots. She had a tail which was like a whip when she was happy to see you.
They are great dogs. and yes I can relate to the baseboard probem and sliding door problem and the window problem and sniffing garbage bags problem. But I am like you if there is no dog in the house , it's like losing an arm.
You feel so much better with life beside you.
:)
