Conventional Commodity: Wagon Wheel Clock

Con-ven-tion-al: adjective, (kuhn-ven-shuh-nl)- ordinary rather than different or original.
Com-mod-i-ty: noun, (kuh-mod-i-tee)- something of use, advantage, or value
.

We live "out in the country" to a certain extent. And, in terms of pictures, paintings and the like, we tend towards the ?? rustic, look -without being 'hickish'.

For example, we like Charles Russel and Windburg paintings. And we have a fair amount of finished wood in our home. So, this clock fits right in. It hangs in our living room above a large window that is one of three. The clock is large enough to see from a good distance too... and, with my eyes, that's a plus.

Here's a pic -below- to show you where it hangs... this pic was taken years ago in B.C. times (before children)... back when single pup, Smidgen, used to come into the sunken living room to watch TV (and that dog really watches TV).
The clock hangs where the blue * is in the photo.

What a gorgeous picture of your living room - looks like it's right out of the pages of a decorating magazine. Now all you need is the pistol clock Grizzly has hanging in the garage. It would really set things off nicely. :) Hope you're feeling really well. Missing you.

What a beautiful room! I like the TV watching doggie too (he is watching the TV, isn't he?). YOur room looks so cozy I just wanted to get my Agatha Christie book and curl up by the fire on the sofa. It must be lovely in the winter time. Thanks for sharing. :)
