Git 'er Done

This pic was taken some 4-5 years ago when we were in the process of adding many of our trees. Hey, what can I say... the ground was hard and more weight/leverage helped get it done (even with the tractor, the ground was so hard that one auger hole took about ten minutes).

I just have to ask - how many acres do you have. I would be jealous, 'cept for that fact that I wouldn't want to have to mow all that grass!

We have eight acres ...just enough for "elbow room". Wouldn't mind more. Mowing is not bad, as the horses mostly take care of about 3-4 acres.

Wow... those are big trees! How tall are they now?
I wanted to buy a semi-mature tree for the front yard, because let's face it, I'm not getting any younger, but they were running in the $150 -$300 neighborhood. Worth it I guess, if I want to sit in the shade before they can't get my rocker off the friont porch!
